Peach Cobbler for Dessert

Hi were back. Things just got to crazy to keep up with but they have settled down for now.

Today Mom(Sherry) and I are making peach cobbler for customers to take home for dessert.  The melons have finally come in and they are very tasty.

The ice cream machine is working overtime and we also have a delicious peach(Do you see a theme here?) shake.

This weekend we will also be at the Heath Fair serving our fried dough w/maple cream! So if your at the fair stop by & say Hi cause you know you want some fried dough, it‘s that time of year.

Chip Is On the Run

Corn Chowder for Lunch.
Acorn squash will be in today.
Fresh dug potatoes in 10lb bags-really yummy.
Fresh dug garlic-can be braided and dried.

Shiro plums should be ready to be picked for the the weekend-these are yellow plums-so juicy that you need a bib to eat them-and they taste so sweet-nectar of honey flavor.

Sherry‘s first day of orientation to Nursing School-a bit nervous I might say. Chip is on the run this morning for veggies and fruits while sherry is in school.

Farm Market Photos

We finally go to take some photos the other day.

newsign.jpgHere‘s a few shots:

The first one is of our new sign. It is absolutely beautiful. It definitely portrays who we are and what our market is all about. We LOVE it.

marketsyrup.jpgThe others are some photos of the inside of the Hager Farm Market. They show our farm produced maple syrup & produce in the bins.

marketveggies.jpgAs I said before our produce is non-organic and organic, and we only purchase from farmers who practice a very conservative approach to pest management, using only what is absolutely neccesary in growing their quality produce. We feel that is very important for your health and ours.

Lunch today is Hamburg Stew & Chili and of course you can always top that off with some ice cream.

New Sign No New Babies - Yet

No new baby Herefords yet...but soon!!!

Our new sign arrived and was installed yesterday.... It is absolutely beautiful. It definitely portrays who we are and what our market is all about. We LOVE it. Come check it out.

Wild blueberries are in, as well as strawberries, raspberries, peaches, and plums.

We had a conversation with some customers yesterday and they felt it was important that we let you all know that our produce is non-organic and organic, and we only purchase from farmers who practice a very conservative approach to pest management, using only what is absolutely neccesary in growing their quality produce. We feel that is very important for your health and ours.
