Wednesday's New Produce
Wednesday‘s new produce will be...........sprouts...yes a krispy mix of sprouts for your fresh salad and sandwich...green onions, beautiful white onions with green tops, and possibly eggplant.
We have added new milkshakes to our ice cream line and the favorite of all is the "Maple Shake", made with our own maple syrup, fresh local milk, and our soft serve ice cream.
Tuesday was Corn Chowder, made with our own corn, fresh dug potatoes, and local milk....yummy, today (Wednesday) is vegetable tortellini soup, with many fresh veggies and cheese tortellini..
Many customers proclaimed today the first official day of summer, no rain, and it was warm.
No new baby Herefords yet but a couple of baby Holsteins to add to the future milking herd.
We are always looking for ideas and suggestions for our new market. Stop in and take a look.

Grand Opening - What a Day It Was.
WOW!!! THANK YOU All.
The Grand Opening celebration was awesome. Our entire family would like to thank everyone for the continuous outpouring of support from our new customers. We certainly had a grand day and it continued into Sunday also.
Our new Commissioner of Agriculture Scott Soares attended our opening and we were very excited to have him there. Scott toured the farm and visited with many, discussing the need for farm markets such as ours and his excitement that we were able to take an abandoned piece of beautiful landscape and transform it. Meeting the community’s needs with fresh local produce and food gives people the extra benefit of "piece of mind" of their food source.
Thanks again, everyone, for making our Grand Opening a huge success and continue to check in here for news updates and additions to our farm store.

Good Morning All!
We’ve been busy getting ready for the Grand Opening on Saturday having made 24 jars of raspberry jam and a dozen jars of pickles. There are only a few left! BUT we will have fresh mozzarella cheese, basil and tomatoes on sale today. This afternoon we will also have fresh bread and frozen pies; and on Saturday morning pastries and cooked pies.
Chip spent the day canning syrup, making granulated maple sugar, maple cream, and maple candy. He has the buckets of maple cream made and ready for the Fried Dough and Maple Cream.
Just wanted to mention that the new lattice doors are the excellent work of the Franklin County Technical School students. Check out what the students learn to do at the school.
Our new sign will not arrive in time for the grand opening, but the company will install a banner in its place announcing the Grand Celebration. The shelves are stocked with new items and more will arrive Friday.
Franklin the Inflatable Bear, 30ft tall will arrive on the lawn Friday, along with a 30ft x 30ft tent. The rain will not stop us from having a real party for our Grand Opening on Saturday!
